FSSAI means Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).Obtaining an FSSAI license is mandatory before starting any food business operation in India. It is applicable for the food business whose annual turnover is above Rs. 20 Crore in Case of trading or manufacturing or storage beyond certain limited as specified by the laws.
The FSSAI license is issued invalidity for 1 year to 5 years. Before 30 days of the expiry date, the renewal of the FSSAI license should be applied.
